I am a London-based fashion and lifestyle writer and editor. A Toronto native, I graduated from York University with a Psychology degree in 2008, came to London for a visit, and never left.
Before journalism, I was med-school bound and worked in clinical psychology. The decision to change career paths slowly crept up on me, and was heavily fuelled by weekend trips to trend-setting European capitals, overexposure to ready-to-wear, and ample reading of The New York Times. I abruptly left the medical field to intern at Christian Louboutin, Marie Claire, and You Mag (Mail on Sunday), in PR and fashion features.
Currently an editor within the luxury goods sector, I specialise in writing about the fashion industry, style psychology, wellbeing, global cities, and expat culture. I am also writing a personality-led book about London, inspired by my relocation experiences.
