Anabel Maldonado is a London-based fashion journalist and fashion psychologist specializing in industry opinion, fashion critique, trends, fashion psychology, and well-being.
A Toronto native, she interned at Christian Louboutin and the Mail on Sunday upon arriving to the UK, before working in magazine publishing, and becoming Editor-in-Chief of luxury e-commerce site CoutureLab.com. Currently, Anabel works on a freelance basis and also remains Editor-in-Chief of CarmenBusquets.com, the content site and portfolio of luxury fashion e-commerce pioneer Carmen Busquets' investments, which include Net-a-Porter, Moda Operandi, and Farfetch.
Anabel’s work has appeared in The Business of Fashion, The Untitled Magazine, Marie Claire, Trendstop, HerbalGram, sofeminine.co.uk, as well as a number of academic journals. She has also provided editorial consulting and content creation for luxury brands that include JOSEPH, Chinti & Parker, Temperley London, Hugo Boss, Bucherer, Quintessentially Group, Made in Global, Vault Couture, BestSecret, Biotherm, Decleor, Dr Jackson's and Dassault Falcon, as well as a number of emerging fashion and luxury brands.
